Rockport Music is proud to announce its summer concert schedule including the 35th Annual Rockport Chamber Music Festival, 5th Annual Rockport Jazz Festival and the Summer at Rockport series of folk, pop and world music offerings. This year’s Rockport Chamber Music Festival opens with legendary pianist Menahem Pressler with the Parker String Quartet on Friday, June 3. The Festival continues through July 22 and includes performances by pianists Jeremy Denk, Kirill Gerstein, George Li and chamber ensembles including Trio Solisti, the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, Harlem and Calder quartets, as well as a world premiere of a new work by Elena Ruehr performed by the Borromeo String Quartet and pianist Donald Berman. Additional highlights include Jordi Savall & Hesperion XXI, Chanticleer, and a tango-inspired program with violinist Cho-Liang Lin, clarinetist David Shifrin, and friends.
