Cape Ann Chamber Education and Scholarship Golf Tournament- The Cape Ann Chamber hosts a golf tournament each year to provide scholarship support for students at Gloucester High School, Manchester-Essex Regional High School, North Shore Vocational Technical High School and Rockport High School. The tournament has been the chief fundraiser for these Scholarships for more than 25 years, as the Chamber keeps a commitment to helping our future leaders. Through the efforts of the event, numerous scholarships have been awarded to area students dating back to 1988. With the help of the Chamber, an objective is to forge links between the local business community and the Cape Ann area schools. School administrators and business people from all four communities have been instrumental in helping to provide students with the necessary tools to further their education. Students who have been awarded Chamber scholarships have attended such schools as Bates College, Penn State University, Dartmouth College and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
