Cape Ann SpringLife: The “Buoys” are Back!
June is an amazing month on Cape Ann. As we look ahead to the final weeks of the spring season, it’s clear why this is a perfect time to visit. Almost overnight, flowers have appeared in gardens, leaves started sprouting on trees, and the breezes off the ocean began to feel warmer.
And with this, you see more happy faces on our beaches, in our parks and nature preserves, around our shops and galleries, and at the outdoor tables at our restaurants and night-spots.
Spring on Cape Ann is great every day – and it’s perfect for those special moments like birthdays, reunions, weddings, book club getaways, and, in June, Father’s Day. Why not surprise Dad with a weekend on Cape Ann this year — he can soak up sun on the beach, set sail on one of our schooners, watch the whales, try to land a fish, and enjoy dinner at that favorite restaurant.
All this and more awaits you on Cape Ann in June — whether you’re a dad or a mom, whether you’re a youngster or just young at heart, whether you’re new to the area or a Cape Ann regular.
As June comes to a close, we welcome the summer months – beginning with Gloucester’s famous St Peter’s Fiesta (June 27-July 1). That week and throughout July and August, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy summertime here.
Before the summer season starts, treat yourself and your friends and family. Come experience Cape Ann SpringLife. You’ll be glad you did!
